Taratest will start its operations in Sweden on October 1, 2025. The expansion is based on the equipment acquisition of an Swedish operator’s field unit, including eight drilling rigs and their attachments. The acquisition also includes the field unit offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Luleå. Taratest’s Swedish operations will be headquartered in Stockholm.

Markus Mangsten appointed Managing Director of Taratest AB
Markus Mangsten has been appointed as MD of the Swedish company, Taratest AB. Mangsten has more than 20 years of experience in management positions in civil engineering and field investigation in Sweden and Norway, including as MD at Norconsult and JMF. He also has a strong international background in demanding offshore projects in the Nordic countries.
Mangsten is specialised in sonic drilling, which complements Taratest’s comprehensive range of services in field investigations.

Services and a growing team
Business in Sweden has got off to a promising start, with the first projects already underway across the country. During October, the organisation will be further strengthened with new experts. The recruitments support Taratest’s aim to build a stable and growing unit in Sweden that can serve customers comprehensively and on a long-term basis. New appointments will be announced separately later in the autumn.
